Home-Stays are a wonderful way to experience Portland’s friendly charm and connect with the regional Montessori community.

These unique provisions may be available for out-of-town visitors and overseas travelers and will generally be offered free of charge.

Please note that a special consideration of home-stays is transportation to-and-from the Convention Center and airport. The Congress will work diligently to make connections between Portland’s local Montessori community and you, the Congress attendee, but please note that if no other option is available, you may be responsible for your own travel logistics.

If you are interested and willing to host an International Montessori Congress attendee in your home or school, please drop the Congress a line. Your generosity will truly convey the welcoming spirit of Portland, Oregon. Ideally, you will be attending the Congress yourself and able to provide transportation for your houseguest(s).
